Host "Three valley Al" from the Revelstoke ATV Club will be taking beginner users of "off road" style GPS units through a look at their units, explaining how to use effectively. If time allows, several laptops with the Garmin software will be available to show users how to download tracks and waypoints, as well as load them from the computer.
Host Robert Hergott will be discussing the ability to go after grant money and how to ensure that you do not "overwhelm" your already taxed volunteers. Will look at one Clubs JOP proposal from last year, and the finished $235,000 they obtained from 4 different sources and the partnership that arrived from this endeavor.
Host Ken Anderson from Oasis insurance will be bringing us up to speed on insurance and their program. Will be available to answer any questions you may have.

ATV BC would like to take the time to explain this is a full day workshop and those registering will be asked to be there for the day. This is a great opportunity to meet people from across the Province and make new friends thoughout the day, something you cannot do as well in small "classes". We do appreciate the fact that there may only be one or two items you are interested in, but sometimes things can reach out and "grab" you in ways you didn't think of. Registrations will be accepted by email to atvbc @ telus.net and must include full name, address and contact number. Registration will be open to members of ATV BC for 4 days before open to the General Public. Seating is limited, so please register soon!
As well, those interested in staying the night at the coast Chilliwack are encouraged to book rooms quickly using the ATV BC rate of 89.00 (plus tax) by calling the hotel at 604-792-5552 and make sure you say you are with the ATV BC group!
ATV BC would like to thank those sponsors that are helping make this workshop a reality. Their help in this matter is greatly appreciated! "Rumor" has it there may be a door prize or two...........
