Biography

My name is Wayne Dreger. I am 64 years young and reside in Campbell River B.C. with my wife of 43 years, Vicky. We have resided in C.R. for 32 years. Prior to that we lived in Kamloops, Williams Lake, Kamloops, Abbotsford, Calgary, Edmonton, Campbell River, Nanaimo and back to CR in '81. We are the proud parents of 2 sons and grandparents to 2 granddaughters.

We moved in relationship to my employment as a Manager of a Credit Bureau. Vicky worked for the C.I.B.C. as a Small Business Account Manager. I retired in 2001 and Vicky retired in 2004. Prior to retirement I was involved in the Sport Fishing Industry. I was a professional fishing guide (salt and fresh).

Owned and operated 2 guiding and boat rental operations, and for the last 12 working years was the Fishing Operations Manager at Painters Lodge.

In the past I have been the President of the CR Chapter of the Steelhead Society and President of the Kiwanis Club. I enjoy the outdoors and am a fisherman and hunter.

I have been an avid Quadder for 6 years. I attended my first Jamboree in Elkford and the CR Club hosted the AGM and Jamboree at Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island in 2006.

I was elected to the Board in Pouce Coupe, and have been a board member for 3yrs. I am now serving the second year of my second term. It has been a privilege to have worked with so many dedicated individuals who have given their
time to this sport.

I hope to continue my involvement in the sport and encourage others to join our efforts to "Protect Our Right to Ride".
