Quad Riders ATV Association of British Columbia (ATV/BC)

I have been actively involved in many, many clubs and associations, local, Provincial and National, for over 30 years serving on their Executive and/or as President. These have mainly been sports organizations but I was also very involved I with health care - Hospital Boards, Regional Health Boards and Provincial Associations with multimillion budgets and many contentious issues. I received five Provincial Government appointments during this time.

Major sports involved were alpine skiing and golf. In golf I became Provincial President then moved to rules where I rose to National Rules Chairman and officiated at LPGA professional events in both Canada and the USA - yes I was with Annika Sorenstam and Dawn Coe-Jones to name two. In skiing, I was also National Rules Chair with international qualifications up to Olympic standards attending many World Cup downhills and National Championships. I travelled to all parts of Canada, the USA and even to Scotland during these years.

Then my husband bought an ATV and that was the start of that involvement, joining our local club several years ago. I was elected as a Director for ATV/BC 3 years ago, served 2 years as 2nd Vice President at the same time 3 years as  Communications Director and now am Treasurer. My involvement with ATV/BC has been intense from day one and continues to be so as I never take on a job lightly.
